This is a lovely hand painted vintage wooden storage box...It is a very sturdy, heavy box...it's in very good vintage condition. There is a small stain near the side on the inside lining, can be seen in the pictures.
This beautiful round box is lined inside with an ivory, satiny muslin-like material, the bottom is cushioned, the sides are ruffled and topped with a white lace. The wooden box is handpainted with a beautiful Victorian lady holding a large heart...there are numerous roses here and there...the sides are an ivory white mottled with a light pink.
The box is a large 13" wide and 5-1/4" tall. Perfect storage for some of your very special items...your collection of love letters or valentines, perhaps!
